Rascal,
i would not presume to speak for the military.

my personal feelings are that service counts...period...anyone and everyone who does, has and will serve in our armed forces in any role has done this nation a great service.
as a minimum, they are owed a debt of gratitude and a measure of respect from those they willingly defend.
