I have nothing against reasonable criticism myself, as you know. I am generally tolerant of criticism I think somewhat unreasonable. But I understand that the loyalty of the opposition is not always apparent, and sometimes people pop off.......

Clarification so as not to mis-represent myself...

I was strongly in favour of targeted and violent military action.
'Targeted and violent' meaning limited - special ops work, pinpoint bombing, etc. I was against violent over-reaction such as nuking the entire country...

The bombing of front-line forces and selective airstrikes on individual military targets do seem to have been extremely effective, more so than anyone predicted. And I admit I hadn't realised the front lines would be sufficiently clear (or extensive) to allow bombing as they did.
