The rally was impulsive… and the ‘blue’ may be part or all of either ‘C’ or 3. If the price goes below ‘A’ (which may or may not be actually ‘1’ as of now), that would eliminate the ‘3’ hypothesis.

So, we have a ‘line in the sand’ stop for the bulls.

The ‘blue’ could also be the ‘5’ (of an A or 1(??)) , with your ‘A’ actually marking the top of ‘3’. In this case, we are allowed a (possibly) deep re-test of September lows, maybe with marginal new lows, without loosing the “large” ABC option, which would correct the entire Bear up to date.

Or, the rally may be all of we get for now, and the price moves to new lows from here, maybe in the ‘big’ wave 5, to complete the first impulse wave ONE or A of the Big Big Bear.

On this cheerful note, Happy Thanksgiving, and my thanks to all on the thread, especially the regulars, for teaching me many much needed ‘survival’ skills!

Anatole.

Anybody know how to get an Excel chart into a reasonable form for posting, ie GIF, JPG, postscript, etc? I put together that LT Naz vs. Dow 1930s chart in Excel, but can't seem to get it into anything besides a stupid Microsoft print format or .xls file.
