and that my prayer was hilariously on point. Speaking as someone who is either in or close to the atheist camp, I find I have much for which to be thankful and I reflect on it each Thanksgiving. I am not a bit lacking in awe and appreciation for how much better off I am than just about everybody on earth. Just because I don't address my thanks to an "imaginary friend" doesn't mean that I'm not duly thankful. Your piece would be more appropriately be called a nihilist prayer. My wife agrees with me.
