You charge subscription fees for your calls, or some have been know to use them to promote their holdings - like that Tokyo guy. If it is so easy for someone to show you how to turn 16,000 into a million, they must have many, many millions, right? Why would they bother seeking members for their room?

Victor ...if you had shorted 20K shares of ITWO at $7.40/.50
the other day ...

....and you'd be more than 1/50th of the way there, now .

--->one of the quickest ways to make that first million
is play ITWO short too....you'll get there twice as
fast !

@ $7.50 ITWO was ---->waaayyyy ahead of itself,
completely....at $3Bil + Cap then.

Just way ahead of itself ...will be a struggle
all the way for this one to go higher
from here .

regards

;-)

>How does one profit from a chatroom?

Good question. I think one can benefit from a chatroom (or not all chatrooms are alike), if it assists in a well defined trading strategy. The few people on our chatroom benefit from having a lot of eyes on the market and stocks, that can identify potential trades, or potential trouble with a trade, and traders do profit from it. But our chatroom is only a small tool (more of an add-on), in a box of trader's tools that are truly necessary for being a profitable trader.

When we originally started we didn't intend on having a chatroom but got coaxed into it by a former partner who asked us to set-up an educational site. Now having run one for over 2 years I can say it is very enjoyable to have a place to converse with other traders, and we have profited from their suggested picks too.

Do we profit from our members trading our picks? Absolutely not, first, we are small and have no market influence, we have no relationship with a broker, we tend to pick higher volume (and float) stocks, our buys are predefined, and we stay in positions longer.

So a chatroom can allow one to focus on the right stocks at the right time, and profit from it.
