peter, depending on who shows up, i think such a thread would be an excellent addition to SI. the sector continues to grow and canadian investors could really benefit from informed opinions. The long trial cycles require both patience and strong DD. It is not enough to understand the research being conducted and the goals of the companies, but one must also watch for alternative and parallel research that may prove more beneficial, more cost effective or less harmful. just last week i was surprised to hear that ottawa was still growing in population by 15% given the hi-tek slow down. it turns out that it is greatly attributed to the bio-tek boom that is happening here. Toronto and Montreal were already considered hubs, but ottawa was more of a nortel town. The times... they are a changin'. martin
