If I did, I would have the story of the century and could name my own price for an interview from the National Enquirer... LOL!! THAT SAID... Israel has one of the best human intelligence operations available in the Middle East. These are the guys you managed to get one of their agents into the upper echelons of the Syrian Government (pre-Assad) and to put a bomb into the celluar phone of the "engineer", triggering it when he picked up one of their phone calls to him. These are also the same people who have almost as extensive a SIGINT operation throughout the middle east as the the US, and they have the Arab linguists necessary to actually understand what they are capturing. And we know the Israelis DID warn the CIA that a group of some 200 operatives in the US were preparing an attack. Given the difficulty we seem to be having in providing conclusive evidence from our own sources showing the preparation for this attack, it would seem they had an agent on the inside. Someone with sufficent access and knowledge of the US Al-Qaida network, to know that there were approximately 200 operatives here in the US preparing for this attack. And anyone who has dealt with the difference between HUMINT and SIGINT, know that having an inside source is the best intelligence you can get because you don't have to worry about deliberate deception.worldtribune.com "On Sunday, the London-based Telegraph newspaper reported that in August Israel warned Washington of an imminent attack on the United States. The newspaper said Mossad officials had alerted the the CIA and FBI that a network composed of 200 agents linked to Bin Laden were preparing an attack. But the intelligence sources said Israel did not relay an alert of an imminent attack to Washington. They said a Mossad delegation was not sent to Washington over the last six weeks to review threats from Bin Laden. But the other aspect that sparked my theory (and I claim it's a theory since they had sufficient intelligence about the size of the network), is the fact that 5 Israelis, in the US illegally, were arrested after someone called the FBI and claimed they were on a rooftop taking photos and showing elation about the burning towers. Now, why Israeli Jews would show elation over the attack is a mystery, unless they were agents tasked with recording the event, knowing that FINALLY an event had occurred that would bring the US squarely into an alliance with Israel against the Islamic Extremists.jpost.com The five, who worked for a New Jersey moving company, said that they were arrested in a security sweep, after neighbors reported them to the authorities when they heard them speaking Hebrew and thought it was Arabic and that they were somehow tied to the terror attack. It was reported that they were picked up after they photographed themselves smiling against the backdrop of the burning buildings. After it rapidly became clear that they weren't connected to the attack, they continued to be held for working illegally and, in some cases, overstaying their tourist visas. They were smiling Jim... I can't think of many reasons such a tragedy would evoke a smile, except believing they had just gained a new ally. So call me "conspiratorial"... or "anti-semitic"... but that's not what my point originally was. My point was that, were Israel to have possessed such information as to the actual target, I can truly see them witholding that intelligence from the US. And btw, I also stated that were I the head of Israeli intelligence, I would probably be loath to place my "asset" at risk, no matter how much good will it generated with the US. That means, given my strategy being similiar to Churchill's, namely to get the US involved in fighting terrorism, I would likely have withheld such intelligence. In fact, I probably would burn the file so it could never see the light of day. And no... I don't believe the Jews actually were behind the WTC attack. (just in case you decided to ask me that... :0) Hawk
