Last week I was reading an article regarding the "churning" some of these charities have been doing with our donations. I searched long and hard for the link so I may post it here but I could not find it anymore...

Anyway the story goes like this: Charity A gets 100K, takes their normal 80% cut (processing, admin, gen overhead cost) and pass the rest equally to charities B and C for further distribution; charity B takes his 65% cut and passes it on, charity C takes his 75% cut and passes it on...

A few months later charities B and C returns the favor.
It's a vicious circle, and very good business for all the high ranking insiders and the "boards". Sheesh.

I'm just wondering... how much of that 100K actually made it to the needy? Hmmmm...

I gotta go. I need to throw up!
