Hi LLCF, Thanks for the link to Trim Tabs. That was very insightful reading. It's got me to rethink my views of why we've seen such a run in the equity markets lately. Re: To be honest I'm pretty surprised we haven't seen a bigger backlash against wall street in the wake of the likes of Blodget & Meeker selling snake oil to their clients... I might speculate that the reason they haven't been pilloried is because there isn't a better messiah on the horizon. Here's an article that is pointing to the long knives starting to come out in the mass media: nytimes.com Morgenson seems to be a pretty level-headed journalist. I've read her for years. I read your latest rant and can't say that there's much I disagree with. Now the heavy lifting for me is to figure out how to place some bets in a market I view as terribly irrational and speculative. Time for the dojis! <vbg> -R.
