Governments' bureaucrats of the are just thinking: "How are we going to tax the business done over the Internet"? That's it.

They are just out not to let their tax revenues run away. It is like Arnold Toynbee wrote: Wherever we see a line of communication, you will see an uniformed agent of the government at each end.

The present moment is the 15 min. of glory of the government bureaucrat: "Lets put an uniformed man wherever we can".

That because: liberalization, de-regulation, privatization, free-movement of capital is making the nation-state shrink. What a better time to inflate government when people are claiming for "securtiy".

Come on! The guys are just thinking how they can keep their grip on the power and on our taxes.
