Hi Ray! Today with the nationalism exacerbated cum Jingoism in the US the scoundrels (because nationalism is the last refuge of the scoundrel) are pointing the finger to anyone who is not dressed up in the Star and Stripes. Holding gold and selling dollars, for instance is considered no no for the scoundrel. But we know that witch hunt, Macarthism and other mistakes of the past are just that, mistakes. I am not anti-US or anti-Americans, I am anti bullshitters whatever passport they happen to hold.

Goldbugs dream of the price of gold climbing to the lofty heights of past years and many scour the internet news services looking for political, economic and other factors that would/should cause the price of gold (POG) to rise. Many view the POG to be artificially held down by conspirators in high government places selling Central Bank holdings in secret, and other manipulations that keep their beloved gold from attaining its true value. Some have taken the Fed and the treasury to task in the courts to prove these claims of manipulation. Such behaviour could be viewed by government officials as cultish,....and many of the scenarios that are thought to drive investors from the US dollar and the other evil so-called "fiat currencies" to gold are doomsdayish in nature. As a result, Goldbugs could be identified as a "Doomsday/Cult type groupie" and this recent FBI flyer asked for citizens to phone the FBI to rat out these groups (gggggggggggggggg). http://www.rense.com/general17/fly.htm Seriously though, the flyer is rather general in nature, I think you will agree. The scary part is what might happen in the future if things unfold as they have in the past,...McCarthy, Salem,.....
