AD,
RE: Intel capex.
Decision probably being made right now. A big intel committment will most likely drive the others. Same going on in my field as we wait for the dollar committments. Same going on in retail by consumer starting today. You going long today, even if for a brief time, fits my bullish Thanksgiving forecast(hope) that the american people(whether they drive a bus or are the ceos of major tech cos) will start to view the glass as half full. Americans usually do that and there is no reason to believe that there will be capitulation to the force on the true dark side. I had a great TG and made it a point of giving every family member a big kiss--yes even uncle fred. We are truly a blessed nation and that realization may let us get back to the business at hand which is recovery from both the physical, mental and economic scars of 9/11. Mike
PS All the negative points analysts are making re chip and equip stock about meeting resistance seems to me to be merely consolidation. Chips and semis i follow are holding up well and it looks to me another run up is coming. Also analysts wont even consider the possibility that capex will be unch or pos this year.
