In case you haven't noticed the "war that is on" has been on since the beginning of time. A few evil doers kill innocent citizens, so using your logic our "freedom" should be suppressed more and more until terrorism is eliminated. Well, terrorism will never be eliminated and if the greatest and most powerful nation in the history of the world has to take away it's cornerstone "freedom" to root out every gang of twenty guys and horse, then more terror is a better alternative.
