I'm not a big fan of JJ but the bottom line is he deserves a lot of the credit for Big D's success in the early '90s. He drafted Troy & Emmitt and also orchestrated one of the most lopsided trades in NFL history (Herschel Walker) The lack of discipline became very evident when JJ walked and Jones brought in Switzer. P.S. Another Buddy Ryan classic was his welcome to JJ to the NFL Coaching ranks....."There's no East Carolina on the schedule" I guess JJ got the last laugh on Buddy. Buddy was out of Philly after JJ's second year and he got two rings to boot.
