I can only imagine that trading full-time would be a high stress process and as a result the enjoyment would be lost. Yeah, I could possibly win big, but I could also lose big. I'm not willing to take anywhere near that kind of risk.

Good post AD. The sentences above are very true, although I don't agree about the enjoyment being lost. I gave up my "old" occupation three years ago to trade full time. I've done very well and made a lot of money. Still, the stress I am under is enormous. I can lose a lot of money one month, go three months w/o making any money, and then make a fortune in the next three months. This year has been particularly difficult.

I love trading and can't imagine doing anything else. Still, it is very difficult and stressful. Anyone who wants to do it for their job should know that up front.
