That's amazing. It looks like Intel is taking their .13u process further than I even thought possible. Not only are they going to reach AMD's smaller .13u transistors (with 70nm gates), but they are going to blow past them into a leadership position. Everything else finally being equal (or actually to Intel's advantage in this case), Intel's processor lines should blow past AMD's in performance and undercut them in power.

Of course, I'd like to see some of this low voltage, quick switching transistor technology making its way into Banias. I would think that Intel's 2003 mobile options are looking better and better.
