So they borrow SOI from Motorola, the fabs from Taiwan, Dresden from the Deutsche Regierung ...

now repeat after Craig "to be able to recover we need to excel on fundamentals". Where are AMD fundamentals ? :-)

And yet, AMD's chips run programs faster than Intel's chips, and they produce them using FABs that they manage to build at half the cost.

And AMD has doubled its share of the CPU market recently, re-entered the mobile market, moved into the SMP workstation and server markets for the first time, and set the new standard for memory (DDR) while Intel pissed away Billions on its loser Rambus.

But, I have to agree with you that Intel does better presentations and Powerpoint slideshows...

Nice to have each company's priorities and strengths so neatly pegged.
