(OT) Re Vikings These martial societies do often trip themselves up. I suppose when King Haakon IV's meteorologist suggested the invasion of Scotland should be pushed back to the spring of AD 1264, when the weather would be more advantageous, he was reprimanded for making "un Viking like remarks" and promptly executed for being a "wussie". I just hope and pray Tony B is listening to the best advice on the situation on the ground in Afghanistan. Once that is done, I'll support his decisions whatever they are.
