Thank you for the clarification, Lee; I understand your points and agree wholeheartedly. I pinpointed 9/29-10/15 as the market bottom..... in August 2000. Those who blame the downturn on the 9-11 attacks ignore all the other economic reasons for our recession... all the attacks did was hasten the bottom by a mere 8 days or so. And, a you so aptly point out, the war in response conveniently provides the cash cow ATM-for-the-masses of government supported capitalism. I predict the expense, funded from the SS of a buncha boomers nearing retirement, will break the economy within 7 years. And good luck to you; -kevin
