I had the 1842/48, I think that 1840 may work just as well. Since the market will see the next mini swoon down as a "healthy retrenchment", the bounce would typically start above the expected support, thus my :"auging" it a little higher than your area (g). 1840 is the bottom of the gap formed on 11/12, it was not fully closed, and thus you may be right, and we may attempt to close this one first.
