It is precisely because of the anti-Semitism, which preceded any of the complaints of the past 34 years about Israel, that I believe the US owes no-one an apology for its partnership with Israel. This does not mean I can support the stupidity of Israel forces leaving behind bombs that kill Palestinian children; if their answer to the hatred is to become as hateful as to kill innocents with impunity, I would surrender them to their evil fate. However, I am still of the mind that such instances are too few and hardly represent the intents of most Israelis. But gross anti-Semitism does appear to be the sentiment of most Arabs, which is the biggest stumbling block in the way of Middle East peace, imo.
