what has that got do do with msft. the it world is moving towards simplicity so all software power is going to be on the server and yes, cpu will be important on the "network computer".

LE is just ahead of his time. the more massive your "network computer" is means the more complex it is. you do not need a massive operating system to run fast. in fact, the smaller the blueprint the better.

we are going in the opposite direction of complexity, imho.
