No, that isn't what being "more anti-Saddam than anyone" means. It means opposing his principles, not just opposing him because of which side of a particular battle line he stands, as the Israelis and the oil money crowd does.

So it's more "anti-Saddam" to cluck about him in principle, than to ever want to do anything about the threat he poses? I see.

Besides, that's not true either. Chomsky calls Saddam a thug in passing, but he has no interest in his crimes or his victims and never dwells on them. To do so would only deflect the spotlight from his one concern, the 'crimes' of the US.
