Yeah... it kinda does, doesn't it?.. LOL!!

I'm not real big on world government under such bodies as the UN, as I believe that any world government must closely resemble the US form of representative republicanism, rather than a unicameral parliamentarian system, which is what the UN currently most resembles.

We would need a proportional representation, as well as the egalitarian representation we have with a standing senate.

And I'm certainly not about to support surrendering US sovereignty when so many nations have used the very institutions we've created to support greater world cooperation, to subvert their original intent.

But it would be nice to see one day, the entire world governed in a manner comparable to the US or the UK (despite the obvious flaws in the democratic system).
