OT: Your Disputative Reducto ad Absurdum Argumentation

Hawkmoon,

Re: Only when you can show me the those who wield ultimate control over every aspect of US govermental decision making for the past 200 years, will I accept your definition.

Sorry, no can do. That would hopelessly obfuscate today's fact case.

My concerns relate only to events occurring after President Eisenhower's famous farewell speech admonishing the nation to beware the military-industrial complex. We didn't, and that's my beef. <g>

From the speech:

Pres. Eisenhower: In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.
