Bad situation here. Nomar blasted the organization and he rarely speaks. Pedro was hurt, wanted to shut it down with a few weeks to go to avoid further injury to his shoulder but Duquette wanted him to pitch. Duquette has made some good moves/trades as GM, but he's sure annoyed a lot of hard-working players. He's hanging on by a thread. Duquette said once again recently that they'll work with Everett and his "issues." I hope that's a ploy to increase his market value and a trade to Houston. A couple of his on-field tantrums not only were embarrassing, but for the first time ever I was scared that he would really lose it and hurt someone. He's a loose cannon and after a terrific half season his first year here, he hasn't played well. If it were my team he'd be gone, and I liked him a lot at first. Not aware that Michael Coleman was reacquired.
