On the lack of technical discussions.
That could be due to:
1) There is a sense that we have much more technologies than we need.

2) People saying that people buy solutions, not technology.

3) Most of the technical debate that can fire people up are wireless-related and the US is not so much wireless charged as Euroland does. QCOM and NOK Thread with the guys all fired up as always amy prove my point.

4) Many people loved to bring their pet technologies to be discussed and most of this people have been burned. This because they used to discuss but were not involved directly with them.

Obviously there are a lot of new technologies (again wireless) worth discussing: WAP 2.0, MMS, WLAN, Billing for GPRS.

On the LM side of the business I think if I go there to AFCI Thread to tell them their company has no future I would get no response. One of these days even ZO will stop replying to my postings!

<<<Attrition takes its toll. I've seen this before in other venues. >>>

Maybe now that the dream of being whisked away to the Billionaires'(or at least millionaires') club via technology stock gains has turned into a bad dream (for the moment,...ever hopeful), we must now work much harder at the day and night job, fearful that the pink slip, axe, lenders loan call, wife's lawyer, or shareholders meeting may be coming our way. Hard to find the time to talk about much more than the monthly income and expense sheet,...what to cut next? :-((
