Re Canadian Contribution You are absolutely correct. Why bother with 1,000 poorly equipped Canadians when the US can rent 1,000 poorly equipped Northern Alliance Afghans for 1/10 the cost to do even more of the in-your-face fighting for you? LOL! John

Southam News ....the brother of one of the bombers claimed refugee status here, as did Samir Ait Mohamed. The Associated Press Ahmed Ressam, above, was convicted in connection with the foiled Millennium plot. The Associated Press Nabil Al-Marabh is an alleged al-Qaeda operative. There is a little-known Canadian link to the first terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. The connection itself is a bit of a shocker. Full story: nationalpost.com
