I'm not sure if I mentioned it here (on SDII) but last week I received my nice shiny new annual report from Corner Bay Silver and here’s a recap:

Alamo Dorado Silver & Gold Project
- 103moz silver – 372,000 ounces gold
- Open Pit mineable
- Heap leachable

Corner Bay estimates the capex required to get this project into production is $45 million, but because of the purity of the deposit they estimate a payback of just a year-and-a-half. Average cost per ounce is just under $3 with Phase I of the open pit operation coming at an incredible $1.55 per ounce.

Also mentioned was the fact that 75% of silver production was a by-product of other metals mining.

LOL buy a blower. What I'll probably do is buy one of those big sled shovels for about 40 bucks. I've been resisting a blower successfully now for many years. Maybe next year is my motto :o) I think it'd make me feel old. Mind you when we do get a big snow I wonder why I need such a big driveway.
