Tony: anybody else, have you seen this? AMD K7 patch for WinXP? My guess would be the PowerNow! support, which is missing from retail versions of WinXP (but not from OEM pre-installed versions, apparently - at least AMD notebooks sold with WinXP reportedly include the proper dll file). There is also an issue with some older Intel notebooks (possibly also desktops) that freeze up unless patched. Looks like another quality MS launch ;-). -fyo

Tony - Re: "? AMD K7 patch for WinXP" Haven't heard anything other than the PowerNot problem for portable PCs with AthWiper 4-Us. However, AthWiper owners are gluttons for punishment - I'm sure they will enjoy the endless glitches with the 'Wipers and DooDooWrongs. Paul
