jimbo-

did a little research on NWAY.
i couldn't confirm that they sold the
south american slot machine rental and
cigar business. i DID read exactly the opposite
from one source (Morningstar) - that they continue
to operate those losing ventures.

i saw no mention of the sale in any of their
press releases or on their website.

quicktake.morningstar.com

the age of the CEO (29) concerns me a bit.
also the fact that he and the COO are financiers
and NOT oil & gas boys is a little worrisome.

all the "news" i could gather was written by
NWAY (press releases) so i didn't feel like i
got much non-biased information. they said
basically what you did.

i get a real bad intuitive feeling that this
could be more of a pump and dump venture whereby
the principals get rich from stock and not
from legitimate business success - but i have
no proof of that.

trading volume has risen in recent couple weeks
a researcher whom I talked to mentioned accumulation
among several mktmakers he has talked to recently.

a statement like that about a small-cap is always a
red flag for me that says, "danger! beyond here be
dragons!"

would it be too personal a question to ask,
"did you or do you plan to purchase any NWAY?"

most people who share a stock story like this
usually don't mind sharing that type of disclosure
and will often offer it "up front" without being asked.

yer fren,

-polvie
