Why ‘just for fun’? I mean, is it that you have a better count, or is something wrong with this one?

Let’s say the big blue A and B get renamed into 1 and 2, and now we are finishing the rally which is the wave 4 of 3 down.

I have a question: Is it acceptable that this 4 of 3 would overlap the bottom of the original big ‘1’ down? I believe there is a guideline against it. If such a count turns out correct, it would, I suppose, put us on the verge of a 5 of 3 [or C] down.

I have always viewed 1987 as a minor correction. Its depth is awesome, but I don't thik it was of as high degree as you.

Why does the Dow go off to new highs in your chart? Let me back up to go at this question and address another of your questions while I am at it...

For me, there are two choices here:

1) We are only in a 4 out of the 1966-1974(or 80 or 82) run. In that case, we go to new highs sooner than any of us believe.

2) We are doing at least a Cycle correction, maybe higher. In that case, we are in for a long bear and it's more likely to me that the legs you label on the Dow (A-B-C) would only be an 'A', not the end of the correction.
