Rumsfeld is doing great! I was concerned about his ability to be a forceful Sec. of Defense. It seemed for awhile that he and "W" were bored with their jobs. They are both doing incredibly! I love to listen to Rumsfeld's press conferences...you bet the press are on their toes! He can be funny, articulate and then become the seasoned principal...telling a reporter to go back to class and learn a little more before asking a freshman question in a class of seniors.! Marie

Rumsfeld is from Illinois so he's smart.gg On McLaughlin today he averaged about a B+ on his job. John gave him an A+ and Eleanor Clift Gave him a C+. Amazing.

Yes, I've noticed Rumsfeld's demeanor to be pleasantly folksy and an embodiment of America's confidence... I think the guy is doing a superb job, I fully enjoy his strict schoolmaster way of handling and answering the new media's questions..... at times, he makes them look so stupid, and for damn good reason.....<g> GZ
