Taiwan Cos to Attend Global Computer Trade Fair in Germany

TAIPEI, Nov 26 Asia Pulse - A total of 564 manufacturers from Taiwan's information industry had registered with the Deutsche Messe AG (DMAG) to attend the international computer trade fair CeBIT 2002 in Hannover, Germany, next March 13-20, according to a DMAG executive.
Hubert Lange, a DMAG board member, said in Taipei last Friday that a total of 8,319 firms from 59 countries had registered with the DMAG to attend at next spring's CeBIT (the Center for Office and Information Technology) fair, one of the world's most important business fairs for office automation, information technology and telecommunications.

Ccomputer and information industries in the Asia-Pacific region have displayed their strength, with 1,058 manufacturers from the region registering to participate in the fair.
