God, the entity, in itself is platform independent....it pre-existed religions, so it has to be, doesn't it ? But people believe Java is platform independent. So CompUSA or BestBuys don't claim their java is better, neither do Sun or IBM....java is......java ! But religious vendors don't believe God is platform independent. "My God is better than Yours" - is a electrified barbed wire which segregates religions... Illusions ? Yes, of course. The word "God" is descriptive of itself....but then we need a political and religious mediator to bridge that gap between the Bhagwan, the Allah and the God. To chip away at those illusions. Maybe a United Religions body, along the lines of United Nations, is the need of the times....
