*OT* War question for thread-

Do you think we'll ever really "catch/kill" Bin Laden?

Let me explain. It seems like a possible outcome (I'd say, probable outcome) to this scenario that we will NEVER catch/kill him (a la Hitler)....I'd think that once the U.S. gets real close to Bin Laden, we'll never know what happened to him. No body, no trace, nothing. (Hell, we might do the trick with a few bunker busting bombs....are we going to be able to dig out a collapsed underground mountain cavern?)

I think Bin Laden and his "close circle" will commit suicide (as forces near), but first, close circle will destroy, bury, or whatever the body first....if Bin Laden is "accidentally/luckily" killed in a bunker attack, same deal....associates make body untraceable, unrecognizable.

So that the "mystery" of Bin Laden can live on...the myth of fear, reprisal, etc...

It makes no sense to me that Bin Laden, etc. would let him be taken alive (to later be photograph in capture and photographed shot in the head). Of course, some myth could be spun out of this too...but it won't be as effective as a total, unphotographed disappearing act.

Any thoughts appreciated....let's end discussion by 8:00 AM Monday morn in order to not pollute thread. tia
