PCChips boards were the least respected in the industry when they were trying to get PIII and Celeron systems to work reliably. But when PCChips started working with Athlon, the PCChips "problem" went away and the company began gaining a reputation for making reliable, low-cost, boards.

By your view, that must mean PIII and Celeron are unreliable, it had nothing to do with PCChips' implementation, right?

The least reliable systems on the market are eMachines, and they use Intel only - I suppose that's just more confirmation of the unreliability of Intel processors.

Paul, the part you quote clearly states that THE MOTHERBOARD WAS NEITHER QUALIFIED NOR APPROVED FOR AthlonXP USAGE.

Similarly, Northwood isn't going to work well in all current P4 boards. That's life and fully to be expected. Of course, Mr. Double Standards... Well, I'm sure you will have some more FUD that explains your earlier FUD.
