no, i think the decline is because G&K portfolios, and the market in general, have not done well this year or last year, so posting numbers have declined. this is clearly the case w/r/t stock message board traffic throughout the Internet--a bad market causes people to lose interest in stock chat threads. i would say this thread has just experienced what is going on elsewhere as well.

I don't know about the level of participation in message board traffic, but the Motley Fool has recently doubled its online customer base. David Gardner recently said, "We've doubled our audience over the course of this bear market. We had a million and a half unique visitors [per month] a year and a half ago. We have 3 million today. And that's [just] our website." (That last comment references the fact that the Fool's customers aren't limited to their website.)
