Ali, so your theory is that being the market leader gives Intel the capability of weeding out the bugs on their systems, first, because of support from Microsoft and the hardware OEMs. It's certainly a realistic theory, though I disagree with your comparisons between Intel's and AMD's errata lists. The subjective nature of these beasts would give AMD plenty of room about what they choose to disclose. Just because AMD has short errata lists doesn't mean that their CPUs are bug free (though it could mean that their validation capabilities lack the ability to detect some of the more rare corner cases).
