*OT* This begins to make sense now Lee. You have to understand that our camp tent is less than a speck in a vast wildernes (larger than Maine!) and yet, every day for a week or so, the would fly *exactly* over our small cleared area. Sometimes they were so low we felt as if we could strike them with rocks. After passing our site, it was only a hundred feet or so to the lake and maybe a thousand before all the shore islands were cleared. He would swoop down yet further once over the lake, as if he were going to execute a sea landing. Of course, to us it was a symbol of American domination and we intoned curses every day, most often dancing about naked. -g
