Well, that last isn't really accurate. I meant that to Americans, "thinking" isn't "treason." To the Taliban, it is.

If one of our reporters did that (reported the position of ongoing clandestine operations) and was responsible for the death or imprisonment of any member or members of our forces, they should be executed as soon as possible with absolutely no regrets. I would not mind pulling the switch either if they would allow me the honor. Freedom of the press must not allow one to get away with treason.
