...but then they keep producing things with their capital, nobody wants/can afford to buy (see, unemployed do not get checks that would take them further than to the food bank). So everything the capitalist now touches, turns gold (here it comes again).

aka, what do you do with the sudden brutal drop in the purchasing power of broad population under this scenario? Give them (green;) rain checks?
