Ah. LOL, I was being too modernist for your liking? Apologies. Medieval misery may have been more widespread and deeper-rooted, but now we have far less excuse... and I agree they had some nicer buildings. A tad forced to contrast Aquinas to Hitler, however... I'd say one of the more maniacal Opus Dei types would have been more fitting. Aquinas against Russell, maybe. (Funny, being racist is to discriminate against different races, but being medievalist implies the opposite).
