re: intel may be a leading company in the field but that does not give automatically implies to specific technologies. HT is an example
hypertransport is an example of what? it may be a great new initiative. I'll give it extra points for being adopted by a lot of the industry, but does it make amd a "leader" in the industry? what about Infiniband, 3GIO, PCIX? is hypertransport going to eclipse these technologies?

Good point !

The XBOX - with an Intel CPU and NVIDIA HT technology seems to work well - for Intel !

Why doesn't AMD have a product on the market with HT ?
