It's a drop-dead gorgeous day in Northern Virginia today, as well. Just perfect.

Lots has happened since y'all discussed weather, but I'm going backwards, as I am wont to do.

It could have been considered perfect here today. 70's and still. But it's too hot. And too still. And there is a storm coming from the west. Tornado weather. Eerie. The kind of weather that has the locals prowling around, knowing something bad is coming and you just hope you get lucky. And after Saturday, it's a little soon! Maybe the atmosphere will change and we'll skate out of this one. Could be. But the "watches" are already flashing on the screen. And people think I'm crazy to want to be snowed in for the winter? That sounds quiet compared to this stuff. but I admit to finding it cool. So intense and on the edge, like the sky could split apart in an instant. It's not that often we get to really feel what "forboding" feels like it.
