Justice dept and FBI is a little different, and PLMD can't bring the political clout MSFT can. I also don't remember the justice Dept getting search warrants for the homes of microsoft employees and conducting raids, but I could be wrong.

<< How concerned do you think the execs at PLMD are? >>

Outwardly or privately? On August 5, PLMD put out a press release in response to a Barron's article highlighting their legal problems, saying, in part, "The Article states that there might be criminal charges brought against PolyMedica or Liberty, and perhaps against senior officials. PolyMedica has no knowledge of this and finds this allegation surprising in light of the open and amicable communications that PolyMedica's regulatory counsel has had with the DOJ. PolyMedica believes that an amicable resolution will be reached with the DOJ." Just over two weeks later the FBI "amicably" raided PLMD's Liberty Medical subsidiary.
