Move towards the model proposed by the Mediterranean Diet, which by itself has twice been shown to reduce mortality from heart disease.

And check out this website to determine differences in saturated fat content and cholesterol amongst differing food groups, and within food groups.

The government recommends 5-7 helpings of fruit and vegetables per day. This takes enormous dedication and forward thinking to accomplish. But it is worthwhile, and can be done.

NO, you cannot substitute helpings of red wine for the fruits.

And NO, reading 2-3 Id posts will not serve as a substitute for fruits and nuts.
