Paul, here's more information on Intel's Terahertz Transistors.

Look at slide 23, and you will see the difference between Intel's "DST", and the competition's SOI.

and here's something a bit more advanced.

Slide 7 shows that Intel's 15nm transistors operate at 2.63THz.

Slide 22 shows that Intel's 20nm transistors operate at 1.45THz.

Slide 42 shows more differences between DST and SOI. It looks like the AMDroids are dead wrong in their comparisons to SOI. This stuff is much more advanced.

Finally, the last slide indicates some of the other presentations discussed at the forum. I'd be interested in looking for those, too.
