two questions you posed. uf, I agree with Eric's answers. The thread members have handled the occasional emotional issues such as 911 by spinning off new threads. The only time this didn't happen was when the Valuationist took over for a short time but we don't expect perfection do we? And the unclassical thread is used to blow off steam i.e. election discussions.. Your influence gives this thread a semi-moderated-unmoderated flavor which seems to have done the job to date. The thread doesn't seem broken to me Kat@my portfolio, on the other hand, is "Broken to Bits"
