The market is mechanism that takes money away from novice traders. If you are Joe Shmo, and you hear news that the Taliban has been crushed, Osama has been captured, and all is well in the world. Joe will get excited. Joe then turns on to CNBC and sees Maria screeching about stocks gapping up strong at the open and how much sideline money is now pouring in because of the good news on the war front.

Joe now pays $29 for JNPR and $60 for BRCM and $16 for AMZN. All these stocks are trading 150% above their lows... who is selling Joe these stocks? Yup.. you got it.

Once the dumb money buys the highs, down we go to reload.
